Facebook Graph Search

Facebook announced its latest feature – graph search this week. Claire has written a blog post on this so I won’t go into detail, but in terms of developments, this is the biggest in the past couple of weeks so I couldn’t leave it out!

Google+ Pages can interact with anyone

Google+ pages can now interact with users who have not circled them. This gives pages much more ability to build relationships than previously allowed.

Facebook is making changes to profiles

There have been rumours over the past couple of weeks that Facebook is slightly changing the appearance of personal profiles, and possibly pages. This will affect how the Friends, Photos, Likes etc. tabs are displayed, and may have an effect on company page tabs. This has been rolled out in New Zealand and was expected to move worldwide. However, the changes don’t seem to have been implemented elsewhere, so this is just something to watch out for.
